V. Ishkov – Associate Professor at the Department of Geology and Mineral Prospecting, an experienced specialist in the field of coal geology, biomineralogy, mining geology and geochemistry of small elements in coals. Scientific research is aimed at improving the efficiency of forecasting the quality of coal and geological conditions for the coal deposits mining. V. Ishkov – the author of more than 100 scientific publications, of which 1 monograph (without co-authors) and 2 patents. He was awarded by many certificates of honor and diplomas from mining and geological prospecting enterprises, state authorities, the State Committee of Ukraine for Geology and Subsoil Use, breastplate "Miner Glory", III and that II degree, a Lutugіn medal (2006) аnd Silver Badge of the Union of Ukraine Geologists.
